The service was great and the food delicious. The restaurant can only be recommended.

Solid food, but not outstanding either: fried potatoes e.g. apparently homemade, but with pre-cooked potatoes. Not tragic, but not a revelation. Unfortunately, the service is not very warm and you feel fairly welcome. But at least quickly! Conclusion: You can do it, but you don't have to.

Unregistered and still get a place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Shortly after the order came the drinks and again after only a short time the food. The quality definitely justifies the price. Just delicious! We would love to come back.

Good cuisine no matter what you eat and friendly service. Have been there twice this week because this restaurant is very convincing in contrast to others on Wangerooge.

The waiter is extremely friendly ... but mostly he serves in Buhne 35, which is highly recommended. The older, gaunt waitress is extremely unfriendly and has already completely forgotten us, so that we left after two hours without food. It is always someone else to blame, the cook or other circumstances ..... a shame, because the food is really highly recommended! The corona rules are not observed, our seat was a maximum of 50 cm from the next occupied seat. The request to move due to a risk patient was received with indignation and extreme unfriendliness and not granted, which prompted us to leave the restaurant. As a result, the waitress insulted us in an absolutely inappropriately when we left the restaurant and instructed us that she would lose sales if the table was left empty. Incomprehensible!!!!!!!!! (we were always friendly and patient guests (by the way, islanders) ate there more often and happily paid good money for good food)

Been there at noon and a friendly young man immediately warmed up the baby food that was handed to him. So in the evening over with the whole family for dinner. Delicious! And the ambience was very nice despite the cool wind. To eat: the salad had very fresh ingredients and the dressing tasted like homemade. Noodles also had the homemade touch of tomatoes and the schnitzel with mushrooms was pounded and tasty. PS: You can also take beautiful pictures with the pirate figures. Thank you.

Top rump steak with delicious baked potatoes, also the plaice with special requests without any flaws. The service was friendly in northern Germany, but everything was ok. I have nothing to complain about.

The food was delicious and the staff friendly. Reservation is required, but this is common practice in every restaurant on the island. It is best to call a few days in advance. We had the matjes and the gypsy schnitzel, both of which were very tasty. The portion is also sufficient. We also treated ourselves to a dessert. I can recommend the restaurant to others.

The restaurant is modern and the food was delicious. The rump steak in particular was super good and I can really recommend it! Unfortunately, the beans weren't good. The garlic taste and consistency of the beans were not suitable for me. Overall, I found everything else delicious! The table placement was a bit of a mess, but not bad. It makes sense to reserve early (preferably a few days in advance - during the season). The service staff were very friendly and courteous. :-)

Everything you would expect from an ideal restaurant. Great service and great food. Been eating here twice. Just thrilled. Compliments to the people who are doing a great job here.

Price / performance ratio is right, plus super nice service even though the shop was fully booked! We'd love to come back ...

Unfortunately, the online reservation was not processed without information and the table was of course not reserved. You should only offer something like this if you work on it ... ??‍♂️

We went to eat at the Pirat on Wangerooge. The food was excellent we had the pirate steak plate and the pirate bride's fish plate. The meat as well as the fish were of the best quality, very juicy and the desired cooking level was perfect and so the price is completely fair! The staff was very friendly and attentive, even if the restaurant was fully booked, great team?? We'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious and the service friendly, unfortunately you can still find “Zigeunerschnitzel” and “Mohrenkopf” on the menu. That should no longer be the case anywhere in 2020.

We had a very pleasant stay. From the waitress to the food, everything was great! We were served in a very friendly manner, and we were regularly asked whether everything was OK, whether we would like it and whether we needed anything else. The food was super flavorful and really delicious! We highly recommend it !! Thank you very much and we will definitely be back!
